but instead of these I set Christ Himself before me,
and I say, “There is my righteousness.”

You may read or listen to "The Revelation of God's Glory," based on John 2:11, preached on January 15, to be aired on January 22.

You may read or listen to "Our Faith Needs Baptism," based on St. Matthew 3:13-17, preached on January 8, aired on January 15.

You may read or listen to "The Name Jesus," based on Luke 2:21, preached on January 1, aired on January 8.

We follow the historic lectionary at the congregations of our parish. The sermon is preached one Sunday and then recorded to be broadcast on the following Sunday.  It is usually uploaded on Monday.

It was recently my pleasure to speak at the annual ACELC meeting at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Nashville, Tennessee.  I was asked to speak on the adjudication cases of my father, Robert Preus, in the Missouri Synod and my case in the ELS.  Here is what I said.

You may read or listen to: The Pastor: CEO or Shepherd, given at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kansas City, Missouri on February 11.
